Stud anchoring
Located with a finder and probe before a single hole is drilled.
Bathroom safety, done right
A grab bar is only as good as what's behind it. We locate studs or install rated backing, set the bar at the height the person needs, and test it with real weight before we call it done.

What grab bar work covers
Located with a finder and probe before a single hole is drilled.
Rated anchors where no stud exists — tile stays intact.
Set to the person using it, not a guess from a chart.
The three places balance is actually lost — covered.
Silicone around every hole so water stays out of the wall.
Handheld rails and seats fitted where a clinician recommends.

Why this one fix matters most
Nationally, about one in four adults over 65 falls each year, and the bathroom is where a large share happen — wet surfaces, smooth tile, and the transfer in and out of a tub. A properly anchored bar turns the riskiest moment of the day into a steady one.
Connecticut's older housing makes it harder: Wethersfield's pre-war bathrooms often have tile over plaster with studs spaced wide, and New Britain's triple-deckers added second bathrooms wherever they fit. Finding real backing — or creating it — is the whole craft.
If a wall genuinely won't hold safely, we tell you rather than pretend, and suggest the right fix. A bar that fails is worse than no bar at all.
We find studs or plan rated anchors.
Height and angle set with the person who'll use it.
Installed, sealed, and tested with real weight.
Placement guidance: for individual mobility needs, ask a qualified clinician or accessibility professional. We install to their spec — or to proven standards when there isn't one.
Common questions
Very common here. We use load-rated anchors designed for tile-over-board and test the bar before leaving. If the wall won't hold, we say so.
Usually one or two: at the tub entry and beside the toilet. We talk it through on site — nothing added without asking.
It doesn't have to. Modern bars come in brushed finishes that read as hardware, not hospital equipment — we match what's already in the room.
One bar, installed right, changes a morning routine.
